Party Plans Publicity
From January 18, the party will focus on the publicity officially against its rival party BJP and Narendra Modi. No stone will be left unturned in the process where they project Rahul Gadhi’s name as their Prime ministerial candidate .The Historic party will be all set to combat in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.
Few promising acts by Mr. Gandhi in recent times have raised the bar of expectation from people. He has assured that there will be quite a few changes hardly one can imagine. He has promised that the party will look in a different way towards the issues and have a different approach altogether. It might be Jan 18 that people will get a glance of their strategies or methods they are talking about.
Brand ambassadors are chosen to spread their message and help in further publicity. These people were selected and brought in by Mr. Gandhi while having thorough discussions with his party members over past few months. These are mostly young people and they are around hundred in number.
The brand ambassadors will be supervised by young politicians such as Sachin Pilot, Jitin Prasada, Jitendra Singh, Priya Dutt, Jyotiraditya Scindia and Hamdullah Sayeed. The Brigade which consists of hundred people will comprise the members of NSUI and Youth Congress. Out of hundred, fifty members are from Youth Congress and rest are members of party’s student wing, NSUI.
There will be in total fifty teams which will comprise of single member each from the two wings and each team will be in charge of 10-11 constituencies. Pilot, Scindia, Prasada and company will provide a padded support to their work and efforts and will also supervise them. “They are being called cluster leaders,” sources said.
The young brand ambassadors will get in touch with the local media and regulate the party’s message and achievements. Further they were also instructed to proceed with Bharat Nigam campaign. These people will also tackle the press conferences and meetings across 543 parliamentary constituencies and spread the party’s message.
Randeep Surjewala, Party spokesperson dismissed the fact that no communication firms have been hired for Mr. Gandhi’s image makeover. “Rahul Gandhi doesn’t require any advertising agency for his image makeover. No image-building agency has been hired by the Congress party,” he added.
Strong decisive ability, leadership qualities, enigmatic personality and popularity amongst youth might work in favour of Mr. Gandhi in the upcoming elections.
